Show Me How!
Step-by-step instructions for accessing live streaming content
Before you begin
Video content requires a fast Internet connection and uses a lot of computer power. If you do not have enough of either, you may experience "freezes" or jumps in the video, or may not be able to play it at all. For best results please review the following:
  • We recommend an Internet connection with at least 1.5 Mbps of available bandwidth (3 Mbps or higher is preferred). Most DSL, cable, or satellite connections provide this. Dial-up does not.
  • If multiple people are using your Internet connection, you may experience poor performance even on a "high-speed" line. You should avoid letting others on your network use compute-intensive applications, like online video games or watching YouTube videos, while you are trying to watch video content.
  • For best results, you need a computer with a newer microprocessor and a high-end graphics card from a company like NVIDIA or ATI Radeon. Older computers may work, but you will likely experience more freezes and delays.
  • You should close all unnecessary programs on your computer while watching video content. In particular, if your computer is running a virus scan or is downloading updates, your video performance may be severely affected.

First-time viewer
Step 1: The first thing you will see in the player window is a form prompting you to select a product. You have two choices: 4 hours of access for $7.50 (enough for one game), or a full year of access for a price that is typically between $100 and $200. If you only want to watch today's game, click on "$7.50 per 3 hours."
Step 2: The "Select Quantity" screen will appear. You are not allowed to select more than one. Simply click "Submit" or click "Back" to go back and select a different product.
Step 3: Click "Submit" again to confirm your choice.
Step 4: On the next screen, enter your email address and click "Submit." This will be used for your receipt. In addition, the system will send you an email with an important validation code that you will need to finish your purchase and watch the game.
If you use an Internet email service like Yahoo, Gmail, etc., DO NOT CLOSE THE BROWSER WINDOW YOU ARE IN. Instead, open a second browser window then navigate to your email account. You will receive an email from registration@dacast.com containing a six-digit validation code. It typically takes less than a minute for this email to arrive in your inbox. However, it can sometimes take longer. If you do not see the email, be sure to "refresh" your inbox. Also, check any "spam" or "bulk" mail folders to see if the email was sent there instead. If no email has arrived in 5 minutes, click here for troubleshooting suggestions.
Step 5: Enter your six-digit validation code in the box and click "Submit."
Step 6: You will then be asked to enter and confirm a password that you will use after you complete your purchase to log into the game. The next time you want to watch a game, you can use this email and password combination to bypass the validation steps and speed up the purchase process. An email will be sent to you with this information. You may want to save it in case you forget your login information later.
Step 7: Enter your credit card information in the form provided. The default is Visa, but you can select Mastercard, Amex, or Discover by clicking on the arrow in the "Card" field. Fill in the name shown on the card, the account number, the expiration date and the CVV code (the three-digit code shown on the back of the card). Click submit when all data has been entered. Follow the on-screen directions until payment is complete.
Note: If you would like to pay using PayPal, click the tab marked "Pay by PayPal" and follow the instructions. You will be temporarily redirected to PayPal's page to complete your payment.
Step 8: Your payment is complete. If you are ready to view, click WATCH NOW.
Then click on the "Play" arrow to start streaming the content. If the broadcast has not started yet, a message will appear in the video player telling you that the stream is offline. You may need to click the "Play" arrow again, or refresh your browser when the broadcast is scheduled to start.

If you are purchasing to watch a game at a later time (for example, you want to make an advance purchase for tomorrow's game), click SAVE FOR LATER. You can come back to this website later and follow the instructions for "Returning viewer with a saved credit or a one-year season pass" to login and use your saved credit.

Trouble with validation email?
If you are trying to set up an account as a first-time viewer and have not received an email with a validation code within five minutes, there are a few things you can try.
  1. Make sure you have "refreshed" your inbox. If you are using an email client like Outlook, click the "Send/Receive" icon and see if anything arrives in your Inbox. If you are using a web-based email service click the "Check Mail" button or refresh the browser window.
  2. Make sure that you have checked your "Bulk," "Spam," or "Junk" mail folders
  3. If neither of the above have resolved the problem, you might want to try using a different email account. If you don't have a secondary email, you can quickly create a free account at www.google.com or www.outlook.com. At google.com, click the Gmail link in the top banner, then click "Create an Account". At outlook.com, click the "Sign up" button or the "Sign up now" link at the bottom of the page. When you have created your free email account, return to the streaming video page and start the process again, using your new email.
  4. If none of these options work, click the "Live Help" image at the bottom of the streaming video page and chat or email with our support team to see if a solution can be found.
